Youth Ministry at Palm Valley is a place for middle and high school students to feel safe being themselves while growing their relationship with God, their family, friends, and community.

Confirmation

Classes are available for all youth beginning in September through May of each year.
Students have the opportunity to talk about current issues they are facing while exploring sound biblical teaching to help them walk through life with faith.

101 Class : Bible Foundations

201 Class : Living Out the Faith

Confirmation 101 is all about getting back to the basics. In this class, we’ll dive into the Bible—learning what it is, how to read it, and why it matters for our everyday lives. We’ll explore the big story of God’s love, meet some of the key people and events in the Old and New Testaments, and talk about what it means to follow Jesus as Lutherans today. Think of this class as a starting point: a place to ask questions, share ideas, and build a foundation for your faith as you continue your journey in Confirmation and beyond.
In Confirmation 201, we take the next step—moving from learning about the Bible to living it out. Building on what we covered in 101, this class focuses on how faith connects to real life. Together, we’ll explore questions like: What does it mean to follow Jesus in today’s world? How can I make my faith my own? What does a personal faith life look like beyond Sunday mornings? Through conversations, Scripture, and practical examples, you’ll learn how to apply God’s Word to your everyday choices, relationships, and future. This is where you start shaping a faith that’s real, personal, and lasting.

Youth Group

Every Wednesday at 6:30PM!

Our vision for youth ministry is to cultivate an authentic space where youth can grow in their faith as beloved children of God. We seek to nurture young leaders by creating empowering spaces, offering impactful service opportunities, and providing thought-provoking Christian education. Through these experiences, we hope to inspire our youth and build them up as faithful leaders in both the church and the world. At the heart of it all, we are committed to cultivating a community where youth feel known, loved, and encouraged in their journey of faith.

The Inbetween

For 5th, 6th, and 7th Graders

We gather together right after the children’s sermon on Sunday mornings until just before communion, creating a space for older kids to grow into their faith in a way that feels engaging. Through hands-on activities students are invited to ask questions, explore their faith, build community, and discover what it means to follow Jesus as they grow up. It’s children’s church designed for older kids right InBetween.

Each week, our youth group gathers on Wednesday nights from 6pm-8pm and nothing brings people together like food.

Celebrate the start of a new school year with our Youth Pool Party! Youth are invited to come enjoy an evening of swimming, food, friends, and fun as we kick off the school year together. Bring your swimsuit, towel, and a friend, and get ready for a great time of laughter, community, and end-of-summer fun!

Fall Fair

September 26th | 10 AM - 3 PM

The community is invited to this family event featuring live entertainment, local crafts, petting zoo (11-1), kid's alley, bingo, raffle baskets, free food, bake sale, plant sale, car show, and more! Donations of non-perishable food items for the Round Rock Serving Center are welcome.
